About Us
Electrify Everything Minnesota is a partnership between local governments, foundation partners, community organizations, and Center for Energy and Environment (CEE). Together, we raise awareness of, increase interest in, and encourage action toward home electrification, energy efficiency, and renewable energy adoption to create healthier, more just communities.

Our Members
Our work would not be possible without our partners. Current members include the Cities of Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, Minneapolis, Rochester, and St. Louis Park, as well as Hennepin County.

Our Focus
Your clothes drying, cooking, heating and cooling, and water heating significantly contribute to your home’s energy use and emissions. By prioritizing the most impactful upgrades alongside weatherization projects, we aim to help you reduce your home’s carbon emissions while making it healthier and more comfortable.

Our Impact
Since Electrify Everything Minnesota was founded in 2023, we’ve worked to answer why residents should electrify and guide them in their electrification journeys. We do this with workshops, events, one-on-one conversations with residents, and educational resources on available electrification technologies.
In the program’s first years, we’ve attended or hosted 40 events and had 1,420 in-person conversations with residents. We had an additional 100 one-on-one conversations through our Electrify Everything advisors service, which offers free, no-pressure advice to residents of our member communities. Online, we had even more impact, growing our digital footprint across our social media, website, and newsletter.
In the future, our goal is to expand the program, serving more Minnesotans than ever before. Ultimately, we hope to encourage all Minnesotans to consider electrification that suits their needs. Whether that’s electrifying one piece of technology or their entire homes, we’re here to help.
