This fall, Electrify Everything MN will offer three different workshops for homeowners and renters. Attendees can choose the technologies that are most relevant to them. Not sure where to start? Workshops start in September with in-person and virtual options available, so register soon.
Upgrade now to maximize your savings
After December 31, 2025, the federal 25C energy efficiency tax credit will no longer be available. If you’d like to take advantage of up to thousands of dollars in credits, your project must be completed and operational before the end of the year. Electric heating gets more affordable with new rates
If your home’s primary heating source is electric, you could be saving on your utility bills this winter with Xcel Energy’s new electric space heating rate. During the winter, this rate change could help air source heat pump (ASHP) users save close to half the standard rate, regardless of your backup system. If you have an ASHP, call Xcel Energy and request the electric space heating rate. You may need to be persistent. If you don’t have an ASHP, consider upgrading to take advantage of current financial incentives and the updated rate.

¡Disponible ya! Available now! Rewiring America is now offering its savings calculator in Spanish. The same information on tax credits, rebates, and incentives that has been available in English has been translated. As the incentives landscape changes, this calculator is a helpful tool for residents to understand what opportunities they have to save on upfront costs for electrification upgrades.
